Lauren has 20 years experience providing therapeutic counselling services. She is known for her gentle and reassuring manner with children, adolescents and adults alike, especially those who have experienced significant challenges and trauma.
She has worked as a counsellor across a number of settings including Sydney Children’s Hospital, The Department of Forensic Medicine, and non government organisations. Since 2014 Lauren has worked as a lecturer and class tutor teaching Counselling at the University of NSW. She has presented at local and international conferences and provided consultation and training for various organisations including Health, Police, Department of Defence and NGOs.
Lauren holds a Masters of Counselling, Bachelor of Social Work and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, and a COA in Individual and Group Supervision, and is a member of the Australian Association of Social Workers. Lauren is an Accredited Counsellor with Victims Services NSW and Accredited Mental Health Social Worker (Medicare and other rebates available).
